Grant of options
Cambridge, UK, 7 April 2017 - Abzena plc (AIM: ABZA, 'Abzena', the 'Company' or the 'Group') announces that as described in the Company's announcement of 5 April 2017, share options have been granted to the Company's two new US-based senior executives and share options have been awarded pursuant to the long term incentive plan ("LTIP") to certain of the Group's executive management team.
Mr Sven Lee and Mr John Manzello have each been awarded 1,178,828 options over ordinary shares in the Company of 0.2 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), exercisable at US$0.42415 per share, being the mid-closing price of the Ordinary Shares on 5 April 2017 (34 pence) converted to US dollars at the then prevailing rate of £1:$1.2475. These options vest as described in the announcement of 5 April 2017.
Certain members of the Company's executive management team have been awarded share options under the LTIP described in the announcement of 5 April 2017, exercisable at nominal value (0.2 pence per Ordinary Share). The awards are as follows: John Burt, 685,125 options; Julian Smith, 411,233 options; Jim Mills, Campbell Bunce and Donna Hackett 196,000 options each. These options vest as described in the announcement of 5 April 2017.
