15 June 2015 - Deltex Medical Group plc (the "Company"), the global leader in oesophageal Doppler monitoring ("ODM"), announces that the Board has approved the issue of share options to Ewan Phillips, Chief Executive.

Employee Share Option Scheme

The Board has approved the issue of share options to Ewan Phillips, Chief Executive, under the Company's 2011 Executive Share Option Scheme ("ESOS") as follows:

\* The total number of ESOS options held includes those awarded under the Company's 2001 Executive Share Option Scheme

These options are subject to certain performance conditions being achieved. The Company did not make its normal ESOS awards in either 2013 or 2014. The Company currently intends to make a further ESOS award between publication of its interim results and its year end of 31 December 2015. The exercise price has been set at 11p per share, being the price of the placing and open offer completed in June 2014. This represents a premium of 69.2% over the current share price.

Additional interests

Mr Phillips has a beneficial interest in 2,645,189 ordinary shares in the Company representing 1.23 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

Mr Phillips also holds a total of 2,337,211 options under the Company's Enterprise Management Incentive ("EMI") scheme. Awards under this scheme relate to sacrifices of bonus and salary cash entitlements.
