Grant of options and Total Voting Rights
Grant of options
Energy Assets Group plc (LSE: EAS.L) today announces the grant of the following options over the Company's 1p Ordinary Shares under employee share schemes in accordance with DTR 3.1.
The grant date is 29 July 2015 and the number of options is derived from the average of the middle market quotation price on the 20 dealing days prior to this of 540.7p. There is no exercise price attached to these options.

Options issued to executive directors are in accordance with the Directors Remuneration Policy approved at the Company's AGM on 2 September 2014. Awards made under the Long Term Incentive Plan equate to 150% of salary.
In addition, each of the above named individuals was granted 184 free shares under the Group's Share Incentive Plan on 16 July 2015.
In relation to the Long Term Incentive Plan, the proportion of the shares in respect of which an option shall be capable of exercise shall be determined in accordance with the Company's growth in TSR in comparison to the FTSE Small Cap index over the performance period for 50% of the options with the other 50% of the award based on Return on Capital Employed (ROCE).
The awards will vest on the third anniversary of the grant date, subject to the satisfaction of the above performance conditions, and will remain exercisable until the tenth anniversary of the grant date. Once vested, 50% of the awards will be released immediately. A further 25% of vested shares will be released one year later (i.e. four years from the grant date) and the final 25% will be released five years from the grant date.
In relation to the Deferred Bonus Plan, the options will vest two years from the award date in accordance with the scheme rules. Once vested the options must be exercised before the tenth anniversary of the award date.
Total voting rights
In conformity with rule 5.6.1 of the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Energy Assets Group plc (LSE: EAS.L) advises that, as at the date of this announcement, the issued ordinary share capital of the Company now consists of 27,802,610 ordinary shares of £0.01 each. The Company holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Energy Assets Group plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
The increase in the ordinary share capital results from the issue of 15,000 ordinary shares in connection with the issue of free shares under the Group's Share Incentive Plan.
