Xaar plc (the "Company")
Grant of Options
The Company has granted 287,500 share options to its non-Director staff under the terms of the Xaar plc 2004 Share Option Scheme (the "Scheme").
In order to facilitate the grant of these options, the Directors have decided to surrender the following options that they hold in the Company under the Scheme. This surrender by the Directors of their options enables the Company to grant the 287,500 share options to non-Director staff with a significantly reduced cash impact, as fewer shares will be required to be bought into the Xaar ESOP trust. The surrendered options have not been replaced and the Directors have received no compensation for such surrender.
