GoCompare welcomes Nick Hugh to its Board

The Board of GoCompare.com Group plc ("GoCompare") are pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Hugh as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 27 February 2019.

Nick is the Chief Executive Officer of the Telegraph Media Group, a role he has held since June 2017 and prior to this he was Chief Operating Officer, having joined the group in January 2017. Since joining TMG, Nick has overseen the group's data-led "registration-first" strategy and its investment in technology, data and high-quality journalism.

Nick has almost 20 years' digital experience with companies that range from global media players to innovative start-ups. Before joining The Telegraph, Nick worked at Yahoo! for eight years where he held roles such as Yahoo!'s Vice President for EMEA. He previously spent more than 15 years at various companies, including BT and advertising technology specialist, Phorm. Nick was also a Non-Executive Director of esure Group plc until its sale to Bain Capital in December 2018.

Nick has an MBA from INSEAD, one of the leading business schools in the world, and a BA Hons degree in French and Italian from the University of Manchester, UK.
