Globo's CEO affirms company strategy in an interview with the London Stock Exchange

Costis Papadimitrakopoulos, CEO of Globo plc ("Globo", or "the Company"; LSE-AIM: GBO), the international IT, mobile solutions and SaaS provider, and winner of  'Best Telecoms innovation in Western Europe 2011' award, has affirmed the company's strategy in an interview with the London Stock Exchange.

Until now, the focus of Globo's success has been down to the expansion into the emerging parts of the world with its core products CitronGO! and GO!Social where there has been impressive international growth in revenue and profits. The company recognised the potential opportunities in the mobile enterprise market, and commercially launched GO!Enterprise Server on 28 November, 2011, a product that addresses the demand for enterprise mobility across all mobile devices. The company is now expanding into the developed parts of the world such as Western Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia. These markets have identified the need for enterprise mobility and security and as the trend moves away from blackberry towards iphones and androids, Globo finds itself in a strong position where it is able to utilise this demand.

The company plans to establish GO!Enterprise Server as a significant player in the enterprise market, whilst continuing the expansion in emerging markets with CitronGO! and GO!Social.

Globo's CEO, Costis Papadimitrakopoulos commented: "2011 has been a great year for us, and included the successful launch of our new product GO!Enterprise Server. Go!Enterprise Server is the evolution of CirtonGO! and GO!Social and targets the enterprise market in developed countries where the demand has been identified and where there is huge potential for growth. This has helped the company grow into a truly international mobile business which has been key to our success."
