TyraTech announces global agreement for distribution of biocide products

TyraTech (AIM: TYR and TYRU), a life sciences company focusing on natural insect and parasite control products, announces that it has entered into a global distribution partnership with a leading global Animal Health company to distribute a range of TyraTech's biocide products on a worldwide basis. These biocide products will be used in production animal facilities and premises to control flies, cockroaches and other insects.

The agreement with Novartis Animal Health, Inc. potentially enables a rapid, efficient route to market for some of TyraTech's animal health products. TyraTech's breakthrough technology provides a safe, effective, and environmentally-conscious solution to control insects in animal premises that cause both a health risk and significant economic losses to farmers.

This announcement is in line with TyraTech's previous announcement, dated 27 June 2013, where the Company disclosed discussions with major global animal health partners to commercialise some of its existing and pipeline products. TyraTech continues to pursue other opportunities with consumer products companies to market TyraTech's existing and future personal care products.
