GIFT OF COMMON SHARES TO LONG SERVING EMPLOYEES
Clean Air Power Limited (AIM:CAP), the developer and provider of Dual-Fuel(TM) combustion technology for heavy duty diesel engines, is pleased to announce that it acquired 47,500 of its own common shares at 7 pence each on 21 November 2012 to be gifted to employees under the Company's scheme for awarding long service.
Awards have been made to eight employees each of whom has served at least 10 years with the Company and three of whom have service in excess of 25 years. All employees concerned are based at the Company's US subsidiary.
In presenting the long-service awards, John Pettitt, Chief Executive of Clean Air Power Ltd said; 'The recruitment and retention of excellent people is the core of a great business. Clean Air Power has been fortunate to have done this for many years with the result that we have a talented group of people whose knowledge of Dual-Fuel & natural gas vehicles is class leading in the world of NGVs. By using shares, we hope that colleagues with long service will also benefit from the performance of the Company to which they have devoted so much of their career.'
