General meeting to approve share buyback resolution

Cupid plc (the "Company") announces that it is holding a General Meeting of shareholders to apply for shareholder approval for a share buyback programme of up to 10% of the issued share capital of the Company. The aim of the programme is to reduce the issued share capital of the Company to help enhance returns for shareholders. The shares to be purchased on behalf of the Company will either be cancelled or held in treasury.

The repurchases will be managed during close periods by an independent third party which makes its trading decisions in relation to the Company's securities independently of, and uninfluenced by, the Company.

The General Meeting of shareholders will be held on Wednesday 19 December 2012 at 11.00 am at 7 Castle Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3AH, and the only resolution being proposed is in relation to the share buyback approval.
