Panthera Resources plc (AIM: PAT), the gold exploration and development company with assets in India and West Africa, is pleased to provide an update regarding the receipt of funds from Galactic Gold Mines Private Limited ("Galaxy").

Panthera has received documents forwarded by Galaxy confirming that electronic transfer of its second tranche of funds has been initiated following receipt of all necessary Overseas Direct Investment approvals.
