Burren Energy PLC07 October 2005 Burren Energy plc ("Company") Further re Placing and Director Shareholding Further to the announcement made on 28 September 2005, the Company has beennotified that the shares sold by Tacoma E&P Limited ("Tacoma") in the placingreported in that announcement, were sold on behalf of Mr. P Lasry, anon-executive director of the Company. Mr. Lasry has a reportable interest inthe entire remaining shareholding of Tacoma in Burren, amounting to 10,595,000shares, representing 7.58 per cent. of the issued share capital of the company.
