FURTHER RE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

3 February, 2016, Dublin / London Independent News & Media PLC ("INM" and / or the "Company") announced the appointment of Mr. Robert Pitt as a Director of the Company on 29 January, 2016.

The Company hereby makes the following additional disclosures in respect of Mr. Pitt in compliance with Rule 6.6.7 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange and Rule 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

Mr. Pitt does not hold, and has not in the past five years held, a directorship in any other publicly quoted companies.

The Company hereby confirms that Mr. Pitt has no further disclosures to make in accordance with Rule 6.6.7 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock Exchange and Rule 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
