Further Planning Approvals
The Directors of Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY), the globally diversified potash development group, are pleased to announce the approval by the North York Moors National Park Authority of an additional planning application for a drill site for the York Potash Project, with another approved subject to the receipt of confirmations from certain government agencies.
In a meeting held today in Helmsley, North Yorkshire, the Members of the North York Moors National Park Planning Committee unanimously approved one application, with a further application unanimously approved subject to written confirmations from the Environment Agency and Natural England. These further responses were not received in time for the committee meeting so final approval is expected to be given by the Director of Planning under the delegated process. This is anticipated in the very near future and fits with the company's current drilling programme.
