John East & Partners Limited ('JEP'), the corporate finance and corporate broking subsidiary of AIM listed Merchant Securities plc , has raised £540,000, before expenses, for Phynova Group plc, a UK AIM listed company developing new prescription pharmaceuticals derived from plants used in Chinese medicines. JEP, which was recently shortlisted for the Growth Company Investor AIM adviser of the year award for the sixth time and for the AIM broker of the year award, is nominated adviser to Phynova and has now been appointed as its broker.
