Artilium raises £0.5m in Subscription

 

Artilium (AIM: ARTA) is pleased to announce that it has raised approximately £0.5 million (before expenses) through a subscription of 9,090,904 new ordinary shares of 5p each ("Subscription Shares") at a price of 5.5p per Subscription Share (the "Subscription"). 5,090,908 Subscription Shares were subscribed for by existing shareholders, with Directors subscribing for a total of 1,272,724 Subscription Shares.

 

The proceeds from the issue of shares will be used for investment in marketing, sales and international distribution channels as well as for working capital purposes.

 

Bart Weijermars, CEO Artilium commented: "We are very pleased to have completed this Subscription with the support of existing shareholders. Our intention is to market to major telecoms providers internationally where we see opportunities for Artilium's advanced Cloud product suite (Platform As A Service), yielding the ARTA platform's scalability, flexibility and proven stability."

 

The Company is making progress on recruiting two new independent non-executive directors and the market will be updated in due course.

 

Jan-Paul Menke and Bart Weijermars subscribed for Subscription Shares. Following the Subscription, the directors' interests in the Company are set out below:

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for a total of 9,090,904 new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). Admission is expected to occur on 2 September 2014.

 

In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company notifies the market that following the Subscription the total number of ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company in issue following Admission will be 227,705,945 with each share carrying the right to one vote. The Company holds no shares in treasury, therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 227,705,945.

 

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in Artilium plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
