British Airways PLC29 April 2008 FUEL SURCHARGE INCREASE British Airways will increase its fuel surcharge on all tickets issued fromFriday May 2, 2008. The decision reflects continuing high oil prices. The changes will mean: • The surcharge for short haul flights will increase by £3 per flight (£6 return) from £10 per flight (£20 return) to £13 per flight (£26 return). • The surcharge for long haul flights of less than nine hours will increase by £10 per flight (£20 return) from £53 to £63 per flight (£126). • The surcharge for long haul flights of more than nine hours will increase by £15 per flight (£30 return) from £64 to £79 per flight (£158 return).
