FSA Disclosure & Transparency Rule 5 6 1 June

In conformity with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1 Betfair Group plc confirms that the total number of ordinary shares in issue at the close of business on 30th June 2011 (being the last trading day of June) is 108,050,821 at 0.1p each, with each share carrying the right to one vote. No ordinary shares are held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the company is 108,050,821.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Betfair Group plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
