Frontier IP becomes partner in prestigious University of Lisbon technology transfer competition ScienceIN2Business

Frontier IP, a specialist in commercialising university intellectual property, today announces its involvement with the University of Lisbon (the "University") ScienceIN2Business programme, powered by Faculdade de Ciências - Tec labs, to identify promising science and technologies being developed by its academics and students.

ScienceIN2Business invites academics to put forward projects with commercial potential, from which a final five are chosen to be taken further. The Group will provide mentoring support and expert advice to the projects entered and will be involved in selecting the shortlist.

The University of Lisbon is Portugal's top-rated university in both the Shanghai and CWTS Leiden rankings. Frontier IP's involvement with ScienceIN2Business reflects the Group's growing reputation within Portugal, where it currently has three spin outs from NOVA University Lisbon, NOVA School of Science and Technology, and the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science.

The Group is also a partner with the UK government's Department for International Trade in Portugal.
