Lonrho PLC08 November 2007 8th November 2007 LONRHO PLC (Lonrho or the 'Company') Lonrho's Fly540 African airline to commence flights to Uganda and Tanzania in early 2008 Lonrho (AIM: LONR), the expanding conglomerate with a structured portfolio ofAfrican investments, is pleased to announce that it's Fly540 subsidiary will becommencing commercial flights to Tanzania and Uganda in early 2008. Additionally Fly540 has also been awarded a three year Air Services Licence ("ASL") from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority to service the global freightmarket. The Fly540 airline model is to create a mixed fleet of jet and turbo propaircraft that provide East to West and North to South pan African transportroutes. The Company deploys modern aircraft, operated to internationalstandards.
