The order came via Pursuit's recently appointed US distributor for its food and beverage processing technology, A&B Process SystemsCorp. The licensee is a major US food manufacturer and producer with global, multi-billion dollar revenues. The terms of the licence grant are not being disclosed for reasons of the client's commercial sensitivity. The order has been secured by A&B Process Systems ahead of the formal US launch of Pursuit's processing technology for the food and beverage industry (the PDX Sonic) at the Worldwide Food Expo in Chicago during October 2005. The core technology is based on a steam-driven supersonic shockwave producingcontrollable mixing, heating and flow rates.
