Titanium Resources Group Ltd15 May 2006 Titanium Resources Group ("TRG" or "the Group") completes first rutile shipment 15 May 2006: TRG is pleased to announce that it has made the first shipment ofrutile from the Sierra Rutile mine in Sierra Leone. The shipment of 7,000 tonnes was loaded onto barges and transferred to a bulkcarrier at the Group's wholly owned port at Nitti, on the Sherbro river in southwestern Sierra Leone. At the same time the Group's wholly owned SML bauxitemine completed its seventh bauxite shipment since commissioning. Work will now focus on expanding TRG's operations through the completion ofDredge D2 at the Sierra Rutile mine which is due to be commissioned in the thirdquarter of 2007. The Group is also working to extend its rutile and bauxitereserves and resources through exploration. Commenting on the announcement, Len Comerford, Chief Executive said: "We have now completed the first phase of the Group's strategy set out at thetime of our IPO in August last year. Our aim now is to focus on deliveringDredge D2 on time and on budget and continuing the development of the Group'sreserves."
