DECLARATION OF INTERIM DIVIDENDS

The Company announces that the first interim dividend in respect of the year ending 30 September 2022 of 3.6 pence per ordinary share will be paid to Shareholders on 22 April 2022. The dividend is payable to Shareholders on the register on 18 March 2022 and the ex-dividend date is 17 March 2022.

It is the Board's intention, in the absence of unforeseen circumstances, that the second, third and fourth quarterly dividends will each also be 3.6 pence per Ordinary Share, payable in July 2022, October 2022 and January 2023 respectively, making a total dividend payment for the year ending 30 September 2022 of 14.4 pence per ordinary share. This represents an overall increase of 5.9% on the total dividend payment for the financial year ended 30 September 2021 of 13.6 pence per ordinary share.

DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT PLAN ("DRIP")

The Company has in place a DRIP which allows shareholders to use their dividends to purchase further ordinary shares in the Company. The last election date to participate in the DRIP for the first interim dividend is 30 March 2022.

Shareholders who have not previously applied to participate in the DRIP and who wish to do so in respect of the dividend payable on 22 April 2022, should ensure that a mandate form, or CREST instruction if appropriate, is submitted to the Company's registrars, Equiniti Limited, prior to the dividend election date of 30 March 2022. Applications can be made on-line and a mandate form can be downloaded from the above website.
