UTV Media PLC15 October 2007 UTV Media plc ("UTV Media") First Day of Dealings The scheme of arrangement (the "Scheme") of UTV plc received sanction of theHigh Court of Justice in Northern Ireland on 12 October 2007. Following theregistration by the Registrar of Companies for Northern Ireland of an officecopy of the court order confirming the reduction of the capital of UTV plc, theScheme is now effective. UTV Media therefore announces that pursuant to the Scheme it has issued inaggregate 54,801,517 ordinary shares in the share capital of UTV Media (the "NewShares"). Approval has been given by the UK Listing Authority to admit the NewShares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and permission grantedby the London Stock Exchange to admit the New Shares to trading on the MainMarket of the London Stock Exchange. Permission has also been granted by theIrish Stock Exchange to admit the New Shares to the Official List of the IrishStock Exchange and to trading on its regulated market, with effect from 15October 2007.
