Significant events to be reported:

Announcement regarding the final settlement of the dispute between Societatea de Administrare a Participatiilor in Energie S.A. (SAPE) and Electrica SA

Electrica informs shareholders and investors that the civil sentence no. 1878 of 20 June 2019, pronounced by the Bucharest Tribunal in case no. 46365/3/2016, having as object SAPE claims amounting to approx. EUR 800 million (initially announced on 9 June 2017 through the current report published on BSE and on LSE, updated on 21 June 2019), remained final by non-appeal.

We mention the fact that, by the decision of 20 June 2019, the court:

· admitted the exception of Electrica's lack of passive processing quality, based on contractual civil liability, rejecting the request as being formulated against a person without passive processing quality;

· rejected the exception of Electrica's lack of passive processing quality, invoked in the main request, based on tortious liability;

· admitted the exception of the prescription of the material right to action, rejecting as prescribed the request for summons based on tortious civil liability, formulated by SAPE against with Electrica.

At the same time, the court ordered SAPE to pay the court expenses to Electrica, in amount of lei 329,993.37.
