Old Mutual PLC27 February 2008 Old Mutual plc JSE SHARE CODE: OMLNSX SHARE CODE: OLMISSUER CODE: OLOMLISIN: GB0007389926 Final Dividend for the year ended 31 December 2007 (No. 17) The Directors of Old Mutual plc are recommending a final dividend for the yearended 31 December 2007 of 4.55p per share (making a total of 6.85p for theyear). The record date for this dividend payment is the close of business on Friday, 9 May 2008 for all the Exchanges where the Company's shares are listed.The last day to trade cum-dividend on the JSE and on the Namibian, Zimbabwe andMalawi Stock Exchanges will be Friday, 2 May 2008 and Tuesday, 6 May 2008 forthe London Stock Exchange. The shares will trade ex-dividend from the openingof business on Monday, 5 May 2008 on the JSE and on the Namibian, Zimbabwe and Malawi Stock Exchanges and from the opening of business on Wednesday, 7 May 2008 on the London Stock Exchange. Shareholders on the South African, Zimbabwe and Malawi branch registers and theNamibian section of the principal register will be paid the local currencyequivalents of the dividend under dividend access trust arrangementsestablished in each country. Shareholders who hold their shares through VPC AB,the Swedish nominee, will be paid the equivalent of the dividend in SwedishKronor (SEK). Local currency equivalents of the dividend, for all fiveterritories, will be determined by the Company using exchange rates prevailingat close of business on Thursday, 17 April 2008 and will be announced by theCompany on Friday, 18 April 2008. Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised within Stratebetween Monday, 5 May 2008 and Friday, 9 May 2008, both dates inclusive, andtransfers between the registers may not take place during that period. The final dividend is subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting of Old Mutual plc, which will be held in London on Thursday, 8 May 2008. Subject tobeing so approved, the final dividend will be paid on Friday, 30 May 2008.
