Fatality at the CSM Mine
New World Resources Plc ('NWR' or the 'Company') regrets to announce a fatality at the CSM Mine of OKD, a.s. ('OKD'), its Czech mining subsidiary, which took place on Thursday 29 November.
A 23-year-old employee was fatally injured at the CSM Mine's preparatory plant.
NWR expresses its deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the deceased employee.
An investigative committee comprising members of the District Mining Authority in Ostrava, CSM Mine management, OKD management, the OKD Trade Unions representatives and the Police of the Czech Republic is now conducting an enquiry into the accident.
The incident had no impact on production.
