Inmarsat PLC26 October 2005 Inmarsat-4 satellite set for 4th November launch 26th October 2005 - Inmarsat, the leading provider of global mobile satellitecommunications, has announced that it is preparing to launch its secondInmarsat-4 (I-4) satellite, the F2, on 4th November 2005. The satellite hassuccessfully departed Home Port in Long Beach, California, aboard the Sea Launchplatform, Odyssey. The departure followed the successful integration of thesatellite's payload unit with the Zenit-3SL rocket. The satellite is scheduled for launch between 2.20pm and 2.50pm GMT on Friday4th November 2005.
