Extension to publication of Final results for 2020
Challenger Energy (AIM:CEG), the Caribbean and Atlantic margin focused oil and gas company, with production, appraisal, development and exploration assets across the region, advises that under the guidance provided by AIM Regulation in "Inside Aim" on 27 January 2021, AIM Regulation has granted the Company an additional period of up to three months to publish its annual audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2020.
This is in view of the continuing application of emergency regulations and escalation of COVID-19 outbreaks in the Company's various countries of operation. The Company thus expects to publish its annual audited accounts to 31 December 2020 by 30 September 2021 but will endeavour to do so as soon as possible.
The Company will provide a trading update to the market later this month, which is expected to include results of the Saffron #2 well currently being drilled in Trinidad.
