Extension of Concession Agreements for 12 blocks

ANNOUNCEMENT

Societatea Nationala de Gaze Naturale "ROMGAZ" S.A. informs its shareholders and investors on continuing the exploration of some petroleum blocks by concluding certain Addenda to Concession Agreements with Agentia Nationala pentru Resurse Minerale (ANRM) (National Agency for Mineral Resources).

S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. announces that the Government Decision No.1153 of October 22, 2021, approving certain Addenda to Concession Agreements for 12 Development - Exploitation and Exploitation Blocks, concluded between Agentia Nationala pentru Resurse Minerale (ANRM) and S.N.G.N ROMGAZ S.A. Medias, previously approved by Government Decisions No. 2390/2004 and 1597/2004, was published in the Official Gazette, Part I, No. 1040 of November 1, 2021.

S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. Medias, as titleholder of the petroleum agreements for these blocks, has performed petroleum operations that highlighted new hydrocarbon reserves, thus requesting the exploitation period extension by 6 years, for the period of December 2021 - December 2027, respectively.
