Extension of Concession Agreement for 8 blocks

Societatea Nationala de Gaze Naturale "ROMGAZ" S.A. informs its shareholders and investors on continuing the exploration of some petroleum blocks by concluding an Addendum to the Concession Agreement with the National Agency for Mineral Resources (NAMR).

S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. announces that Government Decision No.1011 of September 22, 2021, approving Addendum No. 6 to the Concession Agreement for 8 Exploration - Development - Exploitation blocks, concluded between The National Agency for Mineral Resources (NAMR) and S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. Medias, approved by Government Decision No. 23/2000, was published in the Official Gazette, Part I of October 19, 2021.

S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. Medias, as title holder of petroleum agreements concluded with the National Agency for Mineral Resources (NAMR) for 8 petroleum blocks, has performed petroleum works that highlighted the blocks' future potential, as well as new hydrocarbon reserves, thus requesting the exploration period extension by 6 years, for the period October 2021 - October 2027, respectively.
