Umeco plc Extended commercial relationship with Rolls-Royce

Umeco plc, an international provider of supply chain services and advanced composite materials primarily to the aerospace & defence industries, is delighted to announce an extension to its commercial relationship with Rolls-Royce.

Umeco, through its Pattonair subsidiary, already provides Rolls-Royce with supply chain management services, delivering logistical, direct line feed and kitting services to Rolls-Royce locations in the UK and Germany.

Building upon this existing relationship with Rolls-Royce, a new contract has now been signed under which Umeco will provide supply chain services to the Rolls-Royce North American operations. This new contract, which is operationally effective from 1 January 2011, is expected to generate annual revenues in excess of US$20 million and has an initial term extending until 31 December 2017. Planning for the new contract is underway and the contract will be managed from Pattonair's existing facility in Fort Worth.

In addition, it has been agreed with Rolls-Royce that the existing major supply chain contract in the UK will be extended by two years and will therefore now run to 31 December 2017.

The North American contract will now form the basis for all new contracts that Pattonair may secure for service provision to Rolls-Royce.
