Churchill Mining plc14 September 2005 September 14, 2005 Churchill Mining Plc selects priority targets for drilling at South WoodieWoodie HIGHLIGHTS: •High priority drill targets now selected as further sampling continues to reveal encouraging manganese grades. (See associated map on www.churchillmining.com) • All tenements at Churchill Mining's South Woodie Woodie project have now been granted under the Native Title process Churchill Mining Plc is pleased to announce that Perth-based geologicalconsultancy Ravensgate Pty Ltd has discovered four new priority manganesetargets at Churchill's South Woodie Woodie manganese project following furtherexploration work. Churchill Mining recently collected an additional 101 rock chip, gravel and soilsamples from 15 target areas predominantly in the northern part of its projectarea. Of these, three (Disraeli North, Disraeli South and Baldwin) returned bestgrades of 54.6% Mn, 56% Mn and 39% Mn respectively. Other prospects, includingthe Wilson prospect, returned anomalous Mn to 23%, while several others yieldedlow grade, but anomalous Mn. Ravensgate believes the Disraeli area in particular is a priority target giventhat it lies proximal to outcropping dolomite that is intersected by regionallyprospective fault zones. The two sampled prospects Disraeli North and South arelocated approximately 1.1km apart. The sampling program in the northern part of South Woodie Woodie complimentswork done in May and June of this year which extended the strike length of the1977 discovery made by ANZECO at Enacheddong Creek and highlighted themulti-target potential of the project area. As all tenements have now been granted by the relevant authorities, Churchillhas initiated Heritage Surveys with the Native Title Claimants to allow accessto priority target areas for the purposes of drilling and other grounddisturbing activities. The company is scheduled to engage in another round of field work inapproximately 10 days. The company's Regional Targeting Study (completed inJuly) has identified seven structural/lithological targets in the southernportion of the project area that require follow-up work.
