Exillon Energy plc ("Exillon Energy", the "Company" or the "Group") (EXI.LN), a British independent oil company with assets in two oil-rich regions of northern Russia, Timan-Pechora ("Exillon TP") and West Siberia ("Exillon WS"), is pleased to announce that on 8 September 2010, the FTSE EMEA Regional Committee approved the Group's inclusion in the FTSE All-Share Index and in the FTSE SmallCap Index.

Exillon Energy's inclusion into the FTSE Index Series will be applied after the close of business on 17 September 2010 and will be effective on 20 September 2010.
