EXERCISE OF WARRANTS
Afren PLC ("Afren" or the "Company") announces that it has today issued and allotted, conditional on admission, 1,727,702 Ordinary Shares of 1p each, pursuant to exercise of warrants. The shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company. Application for admission has been made for the shares, which is expected to be effective on 1 July 2008. .
Following the share issue, the Company's outstanding issued share capital will be 370,722,210 Ordinary Shares.
