Exercise of share options by a Director

Intelligent Energy Holdings plc (the "Company") has been notified that on 14 July 2015, Prismoy International S.A., a company of which Flavio Guidotti (a non-executive Director of the Company) is the beneficial owner, exercised 140,000 share options ("Share Options") over Ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company, at an option price of £0.80. The Share Options that have been exercised were granted to Mr Guidotti on 15 July 2005.

Following the exercise of these Share Options, the number of Ordinary shares in the Company of which Mr Guidotti is beneficially interested is 200,000, or 0.11% of the Company's total issued share capital.

Following the exercise of these Share Options the Company has a total of 188,325,451 Ordinary shares of 5 pence each in issue.
