Exercise of share options
and total voting rights
Augean plc, one of the UK's leading specialist waste management businesses, announces that it has issued 100,131 new ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to an exercise of options under a pre-existing share option plan.
Application has been made for the 100,131 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will occur at 8.00 a.m. on or around 17 August 2018.
The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue following Admission will be 103,529,523 and the Company holds no shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in the Company will be 102,844,072.
The above figure of 103,529,523 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Augean plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
