Aricom PLC27 February 2008 Press Release 27 February 2008 Aricom plc ("Aricom" or "the Company") Former Director's Exercise of Share Options / Total Voting Rights Aricom (LSE: ORE, OREW), the Anglo-Russian developer of mineral resources,announces that application has been made for the admission of 400,000 ordinaryshares to listing on the Official List and to trading on the main market of theLondon Stock Exchange ("Admission") and dealings in these ordinary shares areexpected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 4 March 2008. The shares have been issued to Peter Howes, the former Finance Director of theCompany. The price of 15p per share is a condition of the exercise of an optiongranted to Mr Howes when Aricom was initially admitted to trading on 31 December2003. Brian Egan replaced Peter Howes as Chief Financial Officer immediatelyfollowing Mr Howes resignation as a Director of the Company on 31 July 2007. In conformity with the Transparency Directive, Aricom plc is required to notifythe market of the following: Following this issue the total issued share capital of the Company will comprise1,147,988,763 ordinary shares with a nominal value of £0.001 each, each ordinaryshare conveying the right to one vote. Aricom Plc does not hold any Ordinaryshares in Treasury. Therefore, after Admission the total number of votingrights in Aricom will be 1,147,988,763. The above figure of 1,147,988,763 shares may be used by shareholders as thedenominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they arerequired to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Aricomunder the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
