Murgitroyd Group PLC ("Murgitroyd" or "the Group") Exercise of options Murgitroyd announces that it has issued and allotted 21,784 Ordinary shares of10 pence each at a price of 121 pence per share ("the Shares"), pursuant to anexercise of options under the Group's unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme("the Exercise of Options"), by Dr Roisin MP McNally, an Executive Director ofthe Group. The Exercise of Options represents 0.26% of the issued share capitalof the Group and constitutes Dr McNally's entire share holding. The Shares were exercised on Monday 4 September 2006. An application foradmission of the Shares to trading on AIM has been submitted and trading isexpected to commence on Monday 18 September 2006.
