Exercise of Options
The Directors of Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY) ("Sirius" or the "Company") announce the receipt of an Exercise Notice in relation to 500,000 share options granted to an ex-employee in August 2010. The Company shall issue and allot 500,000 new ordinary shares of 0.25p per share ("Ordinary Shares") at 4.5p per share raising a total of £22,500. The monies will be used for general working capital purposes.
An application has been made for the Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading in such shares is expected to commence at 8am on 15 September 2014.
Following the issue of the Ordinary Shares, the total number of shares in issue and the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights will be 1,895,810,461. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
