Exercises of Options by Employees

The Company makes the following announcements in respect of exercises of options between 17 December 2010 and today by four employees ("Employees") over an aggregate of 19,300 Ordinary Shares ("Shares") in the capital of the Company granted under the Albemarle & Bond Holdings plc Company Share Option Plan, all of which were at an exercise price of 236.5p per share:

1. a transfer of shares has been approved in respect of the Shares from Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited ("the Trustee") as Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust to the Employees;

2. as a result of the transfer announced above, the Trustee now holds 818,289 Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company, equivalent to 1.47% of the Company's issued share capital; and

3. B J Stevenson and L K Moran are directors of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited.
