Manchester, UK, 3 April 2009: Tepnel Life Sciences PLC (AIM: TED), the international Molecular Diagnostics and Research Products & Services group, today announces that the Board of Directors approved the issue of 81,311,423 new Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in connection with the exercise of warrants and options as detailed below:

Due to the timing of the exercise of Options and Warrants and the ongoing Scheme of Arrangement it will not be possible to apply for the application of the 81,311,423 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM. The number of shares in issue is as detailed in the Rule 2:10 announcement released today.
