Exercise of Options and Total Voting Rights

Universe announces that it has applied for the admission to trading on AIM of 500,000 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") following an exercise of options (the "Exercise"). These new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares and admission is expected to be effective on 23 April 2014.

Following the Exercise, a total of 18,920,592 options (representing approximately 8.88 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital) remain outstanding.

The Company advises that, following the issue of the new Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Exercise as set out above, the Company's issued share capital is 213,047,534 Ordinary Shares. The above figure of 213,047,534 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
