27 January 2005 EXERCISE OF OPTIONS Nelson Resources Limited (the "Company") today announces that it has issued 962,000 common shares of USD$0.01 in the Company ("Common Shares") in respect ofshare options exercised on 18 January 2005. These options were held by a formeremployee of the Company. In addition, the Company has applied for a block listing on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange of 46,215,635 Common Shares of USD$0.01 in the Company issuable on the exercise of stock options. These optionswere granted pursuant to the Company's stock option plan as approved byshareholders. The shares associated with this block listing have not been issuedand there is no assurance that they will be issued.Accordingly, application has been made for 47,177,635 Common Shares in the Company, which will rank pari passu with existing Common Shares, to be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). It is expected that admission will become effective and dealings will commence at 8.00am on 28 January 2005.
