Exercise of Options

Tangent announces that an employee of the Company has today exercised 100,000 options that were granted on 18 July 2003 under the Tangent EMI scheme. The options have an exercise price per share of 4 pence.

The 100,000 new ordinary shares issued will rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"). Application has been made for the 100,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading in such shares is expected to commence on 22 July 2013 ("Admission").

Following Admission, the total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company with voting rights will be 280,312,981.
