Exchange Rate for Cash Dividend

EXCHANGE RATE FOR CASH DIVIDEND

Hamilton, Bermuda, September 14, 2012 - Signet Jewelers Ltd ("Signet") ("NYSE and LSE") announced on September 7, 2012 that a quarterly cash dividend on its Common Shares of $0.12 per share ("Dividend") be payable on November 26, 2012. For shareholders that have an address in the United Kingdom as of the record date (October 26, 2012), the US dollar to pound sterling rate used to convert the Dividend into pounds sterling will be derived from Bloomberg at 4.00 p.m GMT on November 5, 2012.
