Excellent Metallurgical Testwork Results
Herencia Resources Plc (AIM: HER), the exploration and development company with a primary focus on identifying resource opportunities in South America, is pleased to announce its final metallurgical testwork results for its 'Patricia' deposit at its 70% owned Paguanta zinc-lead-silver Project in northern Chile.
Excellent results from Metallurgical Testwork:
Metallurgical samples of approximately 300kg were taken from an existing adit at the 'Patricia' deposit for analysis at the Ammtec laboratory in Perth, Western Australia. The samples were crushed and ground to 38 micron and batch flotation methods used.
Final results from the metallurgical 'locked cycle tests' returned the following recoveries:
Zinc recovery - 91.6% (at 56% concentrate grade)
Lead recovery - 71% (at 39% concentrate grade)
Silver recovery - 83.4% (combined in zinc and lead concentrate)
Executive Director, Michael Bohm commented: "We are extremely pleased with the results of the testwork carried out on samples from the 'Patricia' deposit. The results are excellent and there is scope to optimise concentrate grades and achieve even higher metal recoveries. The high recovery of payable metals will certainly enhance project economics."
