EVENT FOR PRIVATE INVESTORS

Amara Mining plc, the AIM-listed West African focused gold mining company, is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an event for private investors, alongside two other gold mining companies: Aureus Mining Inc. and Mwana Africa plc.

The event will take place in the Wren Room at the offices of K&L Gates (One New Change, London, EC4M 9AF) on Monday 01 December 2014 at 09:30 for a 10:00 start and will finish at approximately 13:00. This event follows the Company's first successful 'Meet the Miners' event, which was held in February 2014 and was attended by over 50 people.

The format of this event will be 'fireside chats', where the Chief Executive Officers of each of the three companies will be interviewed by a market commentator. This will offer attendees the chance to gain a unique insight into each company and their future strategies.

John McGloin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Amara, will provide an update on the Company's six million ounce Yaoure Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. Yaoure has the potential to be one of the top 10 gold mines in Africa and top 50 in the world by production, with forecast Total Cash Costs among the bottom five lowest in Africa. A Preliminary Economic Assessment was delivered in Q1 2014, which confirmed the project's compelling economics at gold prices as low as US$1,000 per ounce. John will also discuss the next milestones for Yaoure, including a second Mineral Resource update in December 2014 and the Pre-Feasibility Study in Q1 2015.

The management looks forward to meeting existing and prospective investors after the formalities when wine and mince pies will be served.
