Euromoney sells its Institutional Investor journals

Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC ("Euromoney"), the international business information and events group, today announces that it has sold its Institutional Investor Journals (II Journals) business to Pageant Media.

II Journals publish original and practical analysis of global investment and finance, with an online archive of 10,000 articles. It is a small but influential business with 12 titles, available both online and in print, covering various disciplines in portfolio management and finance.

This transaction is in line with Euromoney's strategy, including actively managing its portfolio of assets and seeking to sell certain businesses which do not align with its strategy.

Diane Alfano, Chairman and CEO of Institutional Investor, said:
