Estimated Daily Net Asset Value (NAV)
The Vietnam stock market opened sharply down today following a public holiday on Monday 07 April. The Vietnam All Share Index declined by 7.2 percent, and the estimated net asset value (NAV) per share of the Fund also fell by 7.3 percent.
Over the weekend, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam held a phone call with President Trump, affirming that Vietnam is ready to negotiate with the U.S. on reducing import tariffs to 0% on goods traded between the two countries. This marks a significant step forward at the highest level of diplomacy.
Despite the positive steps taken by the Vietnamese government, and the reported request for delays in implementing the proposed tariffs, uncertainties remain.
Local investor sentiment remains weak, and some investors have been selling shares to meet margin lending requirements.
The Investment Manager, Dynam Capital, will be hosting a webinar this coming Friday.
The Company announces that, at its close of business on 08 Apr 2025, its Estimated NAV was USD 98.3 million or USD 4.183 per share and GBP 77.1 million or GBP 3.278 per share (GBP/USD = 1.2761).
