Karbon Homes publishes ESG report for 2021-22

Northern housing association Karbon Homes has today published its second ESG Report, outlining its performance against the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing.

Karbon's Stronger Foundations Strategy is focused on providing as many good quality homes as it can, delivering excellent customer service, and shaping strong, sustainable places for its communities. To help achieve this, Karbon aims to embed sound environmental, social and governance practices in everything it does.

Paul Fiddaman, Group Chief Executive at Karbon Homes said: "As we continue our ESG journey through challenging times, it seems increasingly important that we use our position to make positive improvements for communities as well as the planet. Furthermore, as an employer of around 900 colleagues and approximately 60,000 customers, we have a unique opportunity to have a significant influence across the range of activities we deliver. We continue our commitment to maintaining our reputation for sound and sustainable financial management and this report shows our journey towards ensuring sound environmental, social and governance practices across our work."
